Sailing and Catamaran Cruises

Wind in the sails, a swim stop in a quiet bay, and the sun going down on the way home. That's a classic Costa Rica sail.

Private or shared?

Morning or sunset?

Morning trips are often calmer, with more time in the water. Afternoon trips are timed for sunset. Bring a light layer, since the breeze can feel cool on the way back.

What's usually included

Most catamaran trips include drinks, a meal or snacks, and snorkel gear. Some add kayaks or paddleboards. Some include pickup from nearby hotels. Each listing shows what that operator lists.
